I know I'll never get to sleep
But I still try to close my eyes

But I cant get the phrasing right
I get distracted by the conversations
Happening all around
Someone providing to much information
I should really write this down

With my reading light switched off
I follow planes across the sky
Try to guess where they're going
And sometimes jealous thoughts will cross
My tired mind just for a while
And I remember then that my own journey
Is mysterious to them
